NOTE: A new remixed version of this wallpaper is available here.

A simplified version of the Firefox Logo - cut to two areas, the fox and the globe - pitting fire against water on a grey fibrous background.

A lower res version available here (1024 x 768px). A higher res version available here (2048 x 1536px).

I liked some of the existing Firefox wallpapers out there, especially "hot" by rakaz, but it was too bright for my taste, I want my wallpaper with minimal glare. The composition of this is very similar to that of "hot", but I took some liberties and simplified the outlines of the logo, which was found on brandsoftheworld.com, and then stylised with some image overlays from free-image sites, sxc.hu and morguefile.com. Cobbled together in photoshop, smooth as silk.

While we're in a mode of acknowledgement, Firefox is © 2004, the Mozilla Organization and the Firefox logo was designed by Jon Hicks, good job!

The URLs in the bottom-right hand corner are for recognition only and not really part of the design, as the taskbar should sit over this text.

Very slick, the subtle textures are a great touch.
